Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CFX Artist with strong expertise in muscle simulation along with hair, fur, and cloth dynamics.
The candidate will be responsible for creating realistic character deformations and secondary motion that enhance the overall performance and believability of characters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and simulate muscle systems, skin sliding, and tissue deformation for realistic character movement.
- Develop and manage cloth, hair, and fur simulations.
- Work closely on rigging and animation to ensure accurate muscle behavior and deformation.
- Integrate muscle simulations into the character pipeline and optimize for production use.
- Troubleshoot simulation issues and refine outputs for final shots.
- Ensure all simulations meet the required quality and realism standards.
- Optimize scenes for efficient rendering and playback.
- Strong expertise in muscle simulation workflows.
Proficiency in:
- Autodesk Maya (including muscle systems or plugins)
- Houdini (preferred for advanced simulations)
Experience with tissue, skin sliding, and anatomical deformation techniques.
